Ok, what I had to do to successfuly flash the board was to remove all hidden files after copying the files onto Edison partition via Finder and before doing reboot ota. Apparently the leftovers made my previous OTA attempts to fail. Now I'm on edison-rel1-maint-weekly_build_16_2014-10-14_14-56-19
