Strangest thing happened. Somewhere between moment i wrote my message and 10 minutes ago, intel released new drivers which windows found and installed automatically. Remember that previously, auto-update didn't work? And guess what, widi now works too. Nice one intel. Instead of answering 're install drivers' you actually decided to find the problem!
Keep on trying since this is still very buggy i have artifacts all over my scree while writing this but picture on tv is good.
