The WiDi version that is currently running is 4.2.29.0.
The TV is a Pioneer Kuro KRP-500M. I do not know what firmware it is running, if any, and do not know how to find out. However, if it has firmware, it is the same version as was on it when it was purchased about five years ago. No changes have ever been made to the TV, and it is not connected to the Internet or WiFi. This TV worked fine with a WIDI device attached for a year or so until an update of the WIDI software brought everything to a halt.
Below is the msinfo32 report, along with a couple of log files (one current and one older). I am sorry that this is so long, but I do not know how to get the information to you otherwise, and I assume you will edit the forum appropriately.
Please note that, until recent days, WiDi would work for a few seconds, allowing a video or whatever to play briefly on the HDTV. However, this is now no longer happening. All that happens now is that the computer desktop background appears and stays on the HDTV after WIDI connects (without showing any desktop icons or other content), and the computer cursor is and remains active on the HDTV screen but disappears from the computer screen.
