@intelman12:  I'll test out the boot times on my system here, thanks for the feedback!  I'm not sure if we will be able to do anything about the boot time until I submit it as a bug though.

 

@pshywar:  What driver version do you have installed for your 3rd party card?

 

@rikirk:  Can you attach a copy of your dxdiag (start -> run -> dxdiag -> Save All Information) and your Intel Graphics Driver Report please?  (Ctrl+Alt+F12 -> Options -> System Information -> Save).

 

@R0N0B:  Try the following steps for removing your persistent driver!  Pull out your internet connection (or disable your wifi temporarily).  Boot into safe mode, Uninstall the Display Driver from there (hit Checkbox for deleting associated driver files) - and then reboot into normal boot mode.  It should not re-install your driver automatically if you are offline.  Try to install the driver using the Manual Driver Installation method after that.

 

@Gil.Goldschlager: Thanks for this info   I will look into it today.

 

@Bokefas: Have you manually updated your AMD* driver to the latest version they provide?  Right now we are investigating an ongoing issue where the AMD* driver boots out ours, causing intermittent function issues on both.
