Same problem but no change to anything only 24hrs later. I first had the netgear ptv2000 could not get it working, so returned for Belkin ScreenCast. My cousin works for Intel, and was visiting, so he worked with me (I have 20+ years in software development) for about 2 hrs. we finally got it working perfect.

I used it all evening last night. I shutdown and retry today with nothing changed and "No adapters detected"  How is this possible?  I use to work for IBM and they would be out of business if they put out this type of unstable software.

I asked my cousin why not have a debug mode so we can see a trace to see the data flow to and from(if there is one) the adapter. He said Intel does not expect users to do this stuff. Let me say there are a lot of users out here  with more experience than the ones that wrote these drivers that are capable of reading a trace.  This simple feature would answer WHAT the problem is and could pass intelligent info back to Intel  If we could see the data flow to the device the answer should be clear.    Also  Intel should have a (what we called at IBM) a missing interrupt handler (MIH) and time out when no response received in a specific time. Can you imaging if ADP said your Payroll program is not working and we do not know why, since no changes were made?

HOW CAN IT BE IT DOES NOT WORK WHEN NO CHANGES ARE MADE?  Only a shutdown and reboot, 24 hrs later???

Frustrated.  But may have to use an external low level protocol sniffer, to trace the data stream being sent by Intel driver. Any Ideas???
