Re: Having problems connecting my laptop with WiDi.

As per your system configuration, your computer seems to be  a very new product So I think it may come with Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 (if not please let me know).

 

If your system comes with Windows 8 or 8.1 then you don’t need to install the WiDi software. This is because there is something called Miracast that makes the WiDi function on these Operating Systems so you can use that to make the WiDi setup.
