thanks for the nice reply I did find that document too. As it turns out. I also logged a ticket with Intel and got a response to the effect that they will offer full refund. Now, seeing as the unit was bought prior to the driver support of dts-hd being removed in August. I did not break it. Intel removed the support of dts-hd... it is my view that Intel should be giving me a device that does equally good a job with dts-hd support - or something better! So I will be following those lines of enquiry with ECC Ireland. (Consumer Rights)
Quite honestly, I would have preferred to just have had the unit drivers support dts-hd.
