So today it looks like I fried my Edison on the mini breakout...
I finally got opencv working and was grabbing images from my webcam like no one's business, then I heard a snap from my variable power supply and saw the current shoot up to 5A. I quickly unplug it but it was obviously too late... Measured the resistance between power and ground and it was 10ohms
I'm not sure what happened here, was the webcam drawing too much power? The only connection to my edison was the webcam and power supply.
Also, is there no current protection or some sort of fuse on the mini breakout? What about the bigger arduino sized expansion board?
