I am also experiencing this problem. It happens exactly as jdoc says- when waking from sleep, IME is disabled by Windows. A restart corrects it. I am using Windows 8.1, Gigabyte motherboard (GA-Z77M-D3H), and an i5 w/HD4000. All of my drivers are the current ones listed on the Gigabyte site. The IME version is 9.5.15.1730.
