Alex, Thanks very much for your help.
I am glad you found something with the bzImage files, that's where I was hanging up with running the full 0.9.0 Linux from SD. I would like to try and to upgrade to 0.9.0 again.
Can you advise if the Atmel Studio 6.1 or the Arduino IDE communicate with the Galileo 0.9.0 firmware ok ?
When I was running the 0.9.0 firmware on the Galileo and trying to boot the 0.7.5 Linux OS from SD the system was unstable and the AS61 and Arduino IDE did not upload anymore.
My original goal was to compare these three low cost microcontroller platforms.
#1. The Arduino Micro - Nice little board pretty powerful
#2. The Intel Galileo Arduino - Excellent and powerful development platform, Integrated features and Linux OS.
#3. The Xmos StartKit - Unbelievable fast Micros for real time systems
Seems like each board has it's own unique place in system designs.
My goals for the Galileo are to get the system to work. I had no problem getting the Ethernet sketches to work. I purchased my Galileo with the 7260 wifi card and even after installing the firmware driver, I was not able to get the driver to load correctly in the OS. Granted he was running the LSB Linux OS and I was using the Intel provided 0.7.5. At least I was not able to bring the ifup wlan0 up. I thought upgrading to the 0.9.0 OS would allow my wifi to work on the Galileo.
